Nina Dobrev celebrates her 25th Birthday with Ian Somerhalder
Lately, we are seeing more and more events where Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are together. What does that mean? Is Nina Dobrev getting back together with Ian? Nina Dobrev turned 25 on January 9 — and she deserves quite the celebration. She took home a Teen Choice Award in 2013, starred as three characters on The Vampire Diaries, and absolutely stunned again and again at every event.
Nina’s birthday celebration appeared to be pretty low-key — no huge club night for this gal — but still a ton of fun. Along with Ian, Nina’s closest friend Julianne Hough was in the house, as was The Vampire Diaries creator Kevin Williamson.
The friends made Nina a lovely cake, embellished with frosting flowers, and Nina looked so overjoyed and touched by all the attention.
And it was also clear that Nina and Ian still have some juice left in the tank. In a pic tweeted out by Kevin, Nina is holding her cake and laughing uncontrollably, while Ian cozies up to his TVD ex and Julianne. They look like they’re having so much fun, and you’d never know that they’re exes.
It’s been a pretty great week for the people who have been holding out for a Nina-Ian reunion. The day before the two flirtatiously celebrated Nina’s birthday, they were thrust together by winning the award for Favorite On-Screen Chemistry at the People’s Choice Awards. And they did not disappoint with their acceptance speech. ( ---SEE---Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev together again ! )
With all this love we’ve been seeing from Nina and Ian, we’re seriously hankering for a reunion. But even if we don’t get one, we love seeing how close Nina and Ian have remained despite everything they’ve been through.
